kayden day 9

Today i had such a bad stitch pain. Cried and cried. Really cannot take it. Dr fong on overseas leave.

In the end, with dad fetching me and hubby to Mount Alvernia a&e. Luckily i have a good hubby to help me call and do everything while i am suffering the severe pain. The pain is worst than labour pain. It never goes off and continuosly in pain one. Covering gynae dr james lee then came and check on me. He said there is blood clot at my stitch inside about 2 to 3cm. He will prescribe med to let it heàl but if it doesnt heal and grows bigger i have to go for minor operation.

I am so scare and hope it heals please.

The nurse was very good. She helped me lessen the pain by using bed pan and warm water. Hubby then buy the bed pan $30 from pharmacy. After awhile i feel much better but not sure if its the med that took effect or the warm water rinse. I tried a new med which is a 'cousin' of aspirin. Monitored for 30mins and was okay. I requested to stay for another 30mins as i dont wish to go back home in pain or drug allergy. Finally i feel much betteŕ and was told that i can be discharged. Total bill for the few hours is $500 (doc fee $200, facility $30, the rest is med)

Now i hope the blood clot quickly goes off so i can help my hubby to take care of baobei kayden. My hubby is so tired i know having to take care of me now also. Heartache. Sorry that i am not well at this tiring moment of time.

First hair wash

Finally i had my first hair wash after 8 days!! Fresh. Still tolerating for shower.

Day 4 night - super grouchy

Day 4 night : i dont know why but baobei keeps on crying, pooing, vomitting milk, wanting to drink milk the whole night from 11.30pm to 5am!! We totally couldnt slp at all and my back is so aching. Not sure if its the epidural effect or something. It aches!! And the stitch not fully recovered plus sweating body and oily scalp and sore breast. I feel so terrible and i am so tired!

Thanks hubby for really taking care of baby although i know he also feel helpless and very tired.

All i want to say is thank u for helping me in almost everything and u have been a great daddy and husband! I am glad that u were beside me to help me with even the smallest thing to the biggest thing. Thankful i have got you....

And this morning i see that u arr so tired but u still need to bring baobei to the PD at Mount A. Thank you hubby and mum!

Week 38 - 11 June 2015

Dr Fong Yang decided to burst my waterbag although dilation was only 1.5cm after one whole day from 1.15am tablet till 10pm. After bursting the waterbag, i cant even take the contraction pain when it reaches 30+. I tot my max was 127 in the noon & i am still bearable? Ok, dr fong yang suggested epidural if i really cannot take it. Ok, i need that seriously.

Dr fong left after bursting my waterbag at about 10.30pm on 10 june 2015 and the anethestic doc came at 11pm to give me the epidural. I am already in contraction pain so when he injected me with the epidural at my spine i slightly moved due to reflex action and FEAR. Sorry sorry i said. I am really scared.

After that i feel slightly not so pain but will need 15mins to take effect. Soon, i feel slight numbness but still able to feel and move my legs. But the contraction pain totally cant feel even its at abt 50+. I can even fall aslp cuz havent been slping for 24 hours. But i was really shivering uncontrollably. At first i tot is the aircon which is really too cold. Then hubby told me the anethestic doc told him that i will shiver due to the epidural. My shiver was really so shiver and i recall the cold shiver when i went to china 西湖 during winter. I shiver thru out the night. 

I cant even feel the pain when nurse was checking for my dilation. Otherwise, during afternoon i actually cried when one of the nurse check for my dilation. Very painful. When i recall after that i still feel like crying. 

Slowly dilation over the midnight was 3cm, 5cm, then 8cm... then i am thinking oh finally coming to 10cm and i will be ready for labour. Just then i feel thirsty and so i drink some water and shortly after that i feel like vomitting. I vomitted and nurse said she could feel the baby. So dr fong was on his way while the nurse teaches me how to push. I tried afew times with the nurse but she said wasnt correct. Then dr fong came, i pushed again and wasnt correct. Then i feel like vomitting again. So i was really in a mess. I was vomitting and pushing at the same time. The 2 nurses was pushing down my stomach super duper hard. No joke for many times when i am pushing. Still cant come out and hubby told me can see the baby hair already just abit more push. Dr fong then said if really cannot must use vacuum already. Scared me i tot need to csect (like after 30hrs of wait?!) 

Finally at my last push baby came out le. A very relief moment.... and was told to stop pushing... could be the umbilical cord thing and so i hold my breathe but was only for a few seconds... then continue and here comes our precious baby boy. They put him on my tummy. Not very bloody as imagined. I feel so touched and feel like crying. Then i turned my head to look at hubby, he was crying already. Omg. Make me cry also. Then the doc asked him if he is okay? Haha. So funny. 

Then the doc asked him to witness the checking of the baby like weight, length, head circumference, birthmark, fingers, toes, etc while i am doing stitching. I know the epidural has slightly wear off already bcuz i could feel the pulling thread effect but not really that painful yet. 

Then we were left at the delivery ward to wait for a single bedded room. I think we waited for quite sometime like 45mins to 1hr cuz they said it was full. 

Then i was pushed to ward 516 looks like a premier room to me... hehe. 

Week 38 - 10 June 2015

Checked in Thomson Medical at 12midnight for induce. Insert tablet at 1.15am. Feel minor contraction at 3plus nd gradually now the contraction is more pain. Dr fong just came at 9am to check but only dilated 1cm. He will come again in 2 to 3hrs time. Just had 2 small slice of chicken sandwich. Dont wanna eat so much in case later vomit.

Ar... in pain now again... the contraction interval is like within 3mins.... maximum went up to 127.... just now before 6am max only 104 like that....

Today no ultrascan photo when doing scan with Dr Fong.... so here is a photo of mummy finally drinking coconut water from Thai Express with basil leaves minced chicken rice with daddy soft shelf crab rice. 

Thank u daddy for the treat to satisfy the everyone say must drink coconut drink. 

Week 37

Today checkup at Dr Fong Novena.

I weigh 66.2kg and baobei weigh 2.7kg. Wow. He increase 200gm in 1 week and i increase 2kg in 1 week!!

Checked and not dilated yet.... advice to keep on walking, squating... omg.

Next chkup on 9th june. Latest by 10th june will induce.

So should i start my maternity on 8 June or 9 June?

Baobei baobei jia you.... must help to dilate by these few days already ok? Before 9 june must dilate ok.

Week 36 - 28 May 2015

Dr Fong check up day. He says next thursday 4 June check up and if dilate already then can induce already otherwise latest by 2nd week of June. 

Omg baobei kayden.... can mummy only be in pain or waterbag burst when ur daddy is beside me? Until this week mummy is still working. Very scared u know. Can u also help mummy labour hours shorter? Mummy walk alot alot and alot these few days as adviced by dr fong already...

Today baobei weighs 2.4kg and mummy put on 200grams of weigh compared to last checkup 2 week ago weighing 64.6kg.

i love u baobei. Pray for a fast and safe delivery.
