He knows how to hi5 too... but have to depend on his mood.

We were having lunch with hubby colleague at Capitol Four Seasons and 财神爷 came along and sit beside me. Baby K keep looking at him but didnt cry. My brave baby boy.

Why does my baby boy has so much strength on his little nails? I can feel the pain when he grapse my arm. But i did not pull him away cuz i know he will go cranky if i do so and we are in the car... no where to walk so i let it be...

So it ended up like that....

Why does ur baby nails keep growing so fast. I cut ur nails every sunday but i everytime got scratched on Saturday!! 

Kayden Day 226

Its weekend tomorrow!!

Means its baby k gai gai day. Where are we going? Suntec, marina square, vivo or bugis? Thats the question baby k daddy always ask. And usually we either end up in one of those places without fail.

Last sat was a bonus. We went orchard bcuz papa got a $350 taka birthday voucher to use. And so thankfully baby k got himself 2 presents too.

One polo ralph romper which cost $80

Awwww..... so expensive....

These are for his 1st CNY outfit other than his 2 traditional 龙袍 and one set of family suit.

Ohhh.... i think baby k clothes are overwhelming!! He has got so many clothes to wear as compared to his parents.

Well, its his first CNY of cuz have to wear his best outfit correct? Clapz clapz.

And mummy bought u a nice pair of Gucci shoes... but i think its too big for u... i will get another pair for ur CnY okay... :) my precious and cutest baby boy!!

Kayden Day 217 - Role of a Mother

A role of a mother..... is to make sure u are doing good, ensure your well being, taking care of your needs, trying her best to satisfy your wants.

I did not receive all these since young, so i hope i can give my best as someone you will always call.... mommy, my kayden boy.

You were fussy last night. Refused to drink milk nor cereal. Not sure iszit because of the new lactose free milk powder which the PD prescribed. But i tried half serving of similac, u didnt want to drink too. U were crying on the bed. I carried you. You stopped crying. A moment later u started to cry again. I walked the whole hse. You were crying and screaming and scratching all over my face and arms.

I know you feel uncomfortable. But i dunno how else i can do to soothe you. I keep walking up and down the pace in the tiny kitchen and living room. You refused to sleep. We were perspiring. I on the aircon in the room. When we were in the room, u cried even louder. My heart sunk. I am not a good mommy. I dunno what to do to make u feel comfortable. All i know is i have to leave the room and continue walking. We continue to perspire. I carried you in my arms with a crampy empty stomach and a little migrain for an hour plus.

I saw u yawning. I know u are tired. I continued walking. U cried to sleep. My heartache. I saw u sleeping on my shoulders. I cried. A peaceful you, a crying me.

I am sorry, i made u cry to sleep for an hour plus.

I love you. I hope next time when you grow up, i can slp on your shoulders peacefully like how you used to slp on me.

Kayden Day 215 (Diarrhea & Vomit 7th month old) - kidslink children's clinic

Last night baby k vomitted alot at 8plus. Today he vomitted alot again at 3.30pm.

Quickly took cab back to see how is he. While in the cab, alot of things running in my mind.

When reached home, i am in a dilemma whether to bring him to see a PD or the family doc downstairs. KKH nvr come to my mind again bcuz all the doc is so young and look inexperience. How can i trust them again? That time i went, no med or anything and cost $103. If it can be cured i am still paying it worthwhile. But it nvr even recover till today. Ydae was better and i thought his diarrhea stopped already.

But it came back today and vomit. Finally decided to bring him to a PD with hubby whom rushed to AMK after work. At least i thinn PD r more professional. Vomit is the thing i most worry bcuz i am not sure if there is anything wrong with him. Will he dehydrate.

PD checked, no firm answers as to what happen to him. Could be new food introduced or stomach virus. Probably he had his rotavirus thats why this virus didnt really make him feel very sick. Pd Changed his milk to lactose free milk powder till he recovers and some med. He must recover abit by 2 days and fully recover before the end of the week.

His vaccination for Hep B  will be postponed for tml. Hope the rescheduled date wont be too long after. Pray pray. Hope to get his jab by end of this month.

May i pray kayden boy get well real fast....

Kayden Day 214 - Poo better + bottle holding + new tula

Baby k diarrhea is getting better. Did not feed him with cereal today. He only pooed once. Not watery one. But he just vomitted all his milk (alot) out after feeding at 9pm. The bedsheet, the pillow, his clothes, his toys all kenna. Have to wash everything all over again. I am not angry, i am just worried if he is okay or not. Is he giddy or what? How come the vomit? Anything related to the diarrhea? Worried. I remember his last merlion vomit was when he was a baby and while he was sleeping in his cot, he suddenly vomitted while sleeping. And i got a shock of my life. The vomit came out from the nose too. All the milk. Very scary. Its a phobia after that i remember i thought he vomitted thru his nose again. But its my illusion.

Baby k pls get well soon.

Not sure if u still can go for the hep b vaccination on 12 jan 2016.

Baby k although having diarrhea, he is still behaving himself = naughty.

Now he trying to hold his own bottle. But that is when i only put water not milk. Cuz water spill still ok. But if milk spill all over his neck will be very messy and sticky. He holds on to the bottle and plays with the teats. Not drinking though, but glad to see him learning his motor skills and coordinatio  of his little hands and opening his mouth.

Bought a new tula $229 at marina sq. Without the seat support. Closer feel with baby k. My pelvic bone like feeling lighter with this new tula. Warranty at USA. So i think its another step to reaching June 2016 to USA for 2 yrs?

I wonder baby k is more comfortable with which carrier. I wan to use the best for him. Dont want to spoil his bones or posture in future.

I shall go google it out on both carrier.

Anyway its another working day tml without hubby sending me to work. So i guess its a monday super blue day.

Kayden Day 210 - KKH Diarrhea

Baby K has been having diarrhea for 2 days already. Watery stools and alot. 4 to 5 times a day.

Decided to quickly bring him to KKH a&e at 8pm.

Checked and said could be virus. No need medication. Let him fight the virus but maybe will develop fever. Need to monitor. Will take about 2 weeks to recover. If fever and vomitting and no appetite must bring him back to see the doc.

Could be weaning stage thats why caught the virus. No fever at the moment. Feeding well at the moment. No signs of dehydration. Weights 7.6kg.

These 2 days to feed purely on milk. To introduce back cereal after 2 days. Dont mix cereal and puree at the moment. Introduce one at a time per day.

Total.amount $103 using csc card.

reached home at 10.30pm. Baby k slèeping his way thru already.

please get well soon and fast bcuz need to take hep b injection on 12 jan 2016.

Family 1st Staycation - Day 207

It's the first family staycation for the bbk family. 

This is also to celebrate papa birthday on 30 Dec 2015 and countdown. 

Checked in on 3 Jan 2016 @ Equarius Hotel RWS for 1 night.

A fun staycation and 1st staycation having to really put baby first on top of everything. Quickly make his milk, washed his bottles, sterilised with hot water, keep boiling hot water, quickly shower and use the nosiy hair dryer, clean baby, feed him, change his clothes, change his diapers, play with him, talk to him, carry him.... ohh wow... so many things that we gotta do at our free time. So basically i hv no free time for myself to relax in the room. 

Baby k waited till we light the candle, blow the cake then he finally wanted to go sleep sleep. Yawnz. That is like quite late also already. So we quickly eat the cake and have some tea. Despite of caffeine tea, i still managed to fall aslp. 

But not long after... 3am.... baby k crying for milk already..... feed, wash.... quickly go bk to bed.... 6am cry again.... feed, wash... quickly go bk to bed.... 8am wake up already.... 

Added warm water to the bath tub and put his neck float on... his love hate water time begins in the bath tub bcuz he keep crying when we wanted to put him into the swimming pool... mayb the water is not as warm as bathtub water... 

Showered him, dress him and he KO at 9.30am.. luckily he managed to wake up at 10.30am just in time for chk out at 11am. 

That's our staycation :) 

Kayden Day 205 - Looking forward 2016

Today was baby kayden 1st countdown to a brand new year 2016. He was sleeping. Woke up at 1.30am for milk milk n back to slp till 6.30am. Tried his motor walker. Ate mixed veg puree n cereal fed by mummy.

I think he loves all this food but not his milk. He can finish the mixed veg puree 2 bowls and 1 bowl of cereal very quickly.

My kayden boy is growing up so quickly!!
